Marius Cătălin MITREA este jurist, absolvent al unui master în drept internațional public și tehnici diplomatice, specializat în protecția datelor. A deţinut funţia de consilier juridic și responsabil cu protecția datelor la Ministerul Apărării Naționale din România şi de analist senior în protecția datelor la Société Générale.
În prezent este Expert în Protecția Datelor la ING, Președinte al Asociației Europene pentru Studii Internaționale – AESI, cercetător doctor în Dreptul UE (GDPR) la Institutul de Cercetări Juridice și membru al Laboratorului de Cercetări Juridice pentru Noi Tehnologii al Academiei Române.
